Bearing steel tubes are hot-rolled or cold-rolled (cold-drawn) seamless steel tubes for the manufacture of ordinary rolling bearing rings. The outer diameter of the steel pipe is 25-180 millimeters, the wall thickness is 3.5-20 millimeters, divided into two kinds of ordinary precision and higher precision.
Bearing steel is used to manufacture balls, rollers and bearing rings. Bearings are subjected to great pressure and friction in their work, so bearing steel is required to have high and uniform hardness and wear resistance, as well as high elastic limit.
The requirements for the uniformity of the chemical composition of the bearing steel, the content and distribution of non-metallic inclusions, and the distribution of carbides are very strict, and it is one of the most demanding steel grades in all steel production.

Gcr15 precision seamless steel pipe

GCr15 is a high-carbon chromium bearing steel specified under GB/T 18254 and supplied as precision seamless steel pipe or tube under YB/T 4146. It is utilized for rolling-bearing components and other mechanical parts requiring high hardness, superior wear resistance, and robust contact-fatigue strength after proper heat treatment. Chemistry controls, residual limits, and annealed hardness adhere…
